3D Printed Ring Style Ripcord. Great for practice launches, or non-tournament play. Keep your tournament legal ripcords tucked away and limit how many launches you put on them, and use a lower cost, replicable option instead. Length is equal to that of a long ripcord. Can be easily cut shorter with scissors.
Material can be ABS or High-Durometer-TPU.
ABS is stiffer, and won’t skip gear teeth, but can crack and break more easily. Some folks get only a few launches out of it, some get dozens. Your milage will vary.
High-Durometer-TPU has a harness of 72D, much harder than typical 3D Printed TPU. This material works great for low to medium launch strength of an adult. With harder launches from an adult male the gear teeth can slip,
My son broke his Pegasus Blast ripcord very soon after he I bought it and rather than shell out money for a second bey he didn’t need just to get the ripcord, I opted to print one instead. It isn’t as good, but it is a lot cheaper.
